The new American Country Doctor website is a membership website that offers a mix of free content and exclusive content only available to logged in members.
With this project, the doctor has become his own publisher, delivering his monthly health Newsletter to subscribers in pdf format. His weekly health bulletins are freely available on his site, while he offers the Newsletter and other valuable premium content only to paid subscribers.
Our part in this project included organizing and securing domain names, finding a robust and dependable hosting package, researching and implementing a best fit membership software, integrating a payment system that accepts payment via credit card with real time verification and integration with the website software, implementing designer Bill Cooke’s branding and site design into a content management system that makes it possible for non-technical staff to update site content, and providing expertise for the email blast campaigns.
